Minister Tabachnyk Promises that Admission Documents will be accepted Electronically
Friday, 6 August 2010
Starting next year applications to establishments of higher education (HEIs) will be accepted electronically and will be accepted before the appeals commission of the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment (UCEQA) completes reviewing complaints. This information was reported by a UNIAN correspondent after a press conference in Kharkiv held by Dmytro Tabachnyk, Minister of Education and Sciences.
“I think that in the future we will change to a fully electronic system of submitting applications. This change will eliminate many problems and will prevent people from having to wait in long lines. Additionally, next year we will begin accepting applications before the appeals Commission of the UCEQA finishes its work,” stated Mr. Tabachnyk.
The Minister noted that in addition to submitting applications electronically, a person will still be allowed to submit them in person to the Admission commissions.
“There will be no other big changes, because we want the rules of admission to remain stable for several years,” noted Mr. Tabachnyk.
