The Shevchenko University is Looking for those Who Bribed their Way In

The Kyiv Prosecutor’s Office is conducting an investigation of the Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University because of alleged criminal activity during the admission campaign.  This announcement was made by Ukrayyins’ka Pravda". “The investigation was assigned to the City office by the General Prosecutor.  It was spurred by accusations made in the mass media of violations made during the admission campaign at this educational establishment,” stated Myroslava Mushka, an employee of the press service of the Kyiv Prosecutor’s Office.  “The Educational Inspection Service of under the Ministry of Education is also cooperating in this investigation,” she confirmed.  On August 17 Ukrayyins’ka Pravda published a piece titled “The Hell of the 2010 Admission Campaign” in which it was alleged that crimes were committed during the admission campaign at several establishments of higher education (HEIs), including the Shevchenko Kyiv National University.
