Tabachnyk Willing to Become a National People’s Deputy for the Fifth Time

The Minister of Education and Science, Youth and Sports, Dmytro Tabachnyk states that he is willing to run in parliamentary elections.

He made this announcement during an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.

"If the Presidium of the Party of Regions (which I am a member of) decides that I should participate in the elections, then I will concentrate all my efforts to be elected for the fifth time in my life to serve as a member of parliament," said the Minister.

Mr. Tabachnyk added that a final decision has not yet been made and that he has not advocated for this, but that he is ready to return to the Ukrainian Parliament.

"I believe that I have gained a tremendous amount of practical experience during my previous terms and that this will enable me to work actively and be a positive addition to this executive body," he emphasized.
