| On July 5, 2010 Dmytro Tabachnyk signed order #663 on creating an operational Command Post at the Ministry of Education and Sciences (MoES) to deal with issues related to the 2010 admission campaign to establishments of higher education (HEIs). The order details measures to oversee the HEI admission campaign and prevent illegal activity in these establishments during the process and personally names individuals who will be staffing the command post. more | |

| On June 25, 2010, at the Ministry of Education and Sciences (MoES) of Ukraine there was a press conference held by Dmytro Tabachnyk, Minister of Education and Sciences. The press conference was dedicated to summarizing the work of his Ministry during the first 100 days of the new administration. | In the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment (UCEQA) external independent tests (EIT) in Chemistry have been graded and grades announced. Perfect scores were earned by 24 individuals in Ukraine. EIT in Chemistry was administered on June 21st. 32,921 individuals registered and 25,766, or 78.3% of those registered actually took the test. All of the 25,766 tests were submitted for grading. All answer sheets were identified, reviewed and graded. more | |

| The Minister of Education and Sciences, Dmytro Tabachnyk attributes accusations that the English Language EIT was especially difficult to the fact that the number of hopeful freshmen taking the test increased significantly. He believes that this is because of the increased discretion given to establishments of higher education (HEIs). This year HEIs were allowed to independently determine the number of EIT certificates needed to submit an application to their establishment. more | |
