In the Odesa National Polytechnic University a Meeting was held on Organizing and Conducting the 2012 Admission Campaign

On April 24, a meeting was held at the Odesa National Polytechnic University. The meeting was attended by Vice-Chancellors and Executive Secretaries of the Admission Commissions of level I-IV accredited establishments of higher education (HEIs) in the Odesa, Mykolayiv and Kherson regions as well as from the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.  read more

2012: Alliance USETI Continues to Build Bridges between Ukraine’s System of Higher Education and Employers

Employer Forums were a common focus for USETI Legacy Alliance in 212. USETI is supported by the US Agency for International Development and its efforts are aimed at implementing external standardized testing in Ukraine as a tool for equitable access to higher education. On April 24, 2012 the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine hosted the most recent dialogue between Ukraine’s education system and employers with USETI Legacy Alliance. Analysis of the round table: Legislative Protection for Reforming Higher Education in Ukraine

On March 27, 2012 a round table was held at the Ukrinform Information Agency. The round table organized by Alliance USETI, the Education Program of the Renaissance Foundation and the National Tempus Office in Ukraine was entitled Legislative Protection for Reforming Higher Education in Ukraine. Meetings started to Discuss the 2012 Admission Campaign

On April 18, 2012 at the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture Yuriy Korovaychenko, the Ministry of Education’s Director of the Department of Higher Education led a regional meeting to discuss how to prepare for conducting the 2012 Admission Campaign to establishments of higher education with level I-IV accreditation under all forms of ownership and regardless of what bodies they are subordinate to. At the meeting they also discussed including HEIs to the Singular Nationwide Electronic Educational Database and how to ensure diploma attachments, as issued in Europe, are included in diplomas issued by HEIs with level III-IV accreditation read more

An order dated March 5, 2012 was made after correspondences, between the Ivan Franko National University of L’viv and the Ministry, were published. This order made several changes to an earlier order.
