This year’s registration process has changed. Now hopeful HEI freshmen, with the help of a specialized computer program, can independently fill out and submit their registration packets. Documents which are required are: copy of passport or birth certificate, a copy of final secondary school transcripts or a letter from the school attesting that the student is scheduled to graduate, and two 3x4 photographs. Each submitted photocopy must have the words “Exact Copy” written on it and be signed by the student. Registration packets should be sent through the post office as valuable documents. The teacher pocketed over 20,000 UAH in exchange for giving students passing grades in geography and biology during the last exam session.
